The disastrous M7.8 earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday has reached further into India. An avalanche triggered by the quake killed 18 people at Mount Everest's base camp. So far is has been estimated that 4,000 are dead and 7,200 have been injured. But the numbers are expected to raise further.
